It's likely that you'll need to order extra tiles to fill awkward corners and the gaps around the edges of your walls. Your tiler will help you to calculate how many extra tiles you need, depending on the size and shape of your project. A collection of traditional Victorian quarry spare tiles in a variety of colours, shapes and sizes, they come in up to 25 Stunning colours and are available in Squares, Hexagons, Rectangles, Octagons or Triangles and in various sizes. these tiles can either be laid as a single colour, perhaps with a contrasting colour to create a feature area or border, or as shown in this room setting image these tiles can be laid in a chequer board design. The Victorian collection of tiles are suitable for all domestic and commercial situations, and are extremely hard wearing, traditionally these tiles were used in entrance areas, but are increasingly popular now in kitchens, conservatories and other living areas of the home. Used along with our other Victorian Tiles from our Design Centre you can create some superb designs. All perfect for setting of your Kitchen, Conservatories, Hallway or Garden Path, they even look good as a Decorative Wall or a splash-back. Sizes & ColoursThese tiles are natural clay products and there may be small variations in both size and shading per box. Adjust grout lines to allow for dimensional differences. It is advisable to mix tiles of the same colour from different boxes to ensure that any colour variations are evenly distributed. All tiles in the current victorian Spare ranges are 9 - 10mm thick. All triangles, and squares 70mm and below, have completely square edges. Squares and octagons of 100mm and 150mm, and hexagons, have a rebated edge, which gives a flush finish once grouted. Sealing of the TilesThe tiled floor should be completely dry prior to sealing in order not to trap moisture under the seal, as this can produce cloudy white patches. We recommend sealing the tiles using  FixingIt is recommended to use a professional tile fitter to lay geometric floor tiles. Tiles should be laid on a flat sound base using a cementitious tile adhesive and grouted with a fine, cement based, grey grout. Ensure that exterior tiling is laid so that water cannot pool.WE RECOMEND EXTERIOR TILES SHOULD NOT BE SEALED AS THIS CAN COMPROMISE THE FROST RESISTANCE
